À propos
The inspiration for this bath comes from the Norwegian harbour bath in Oslo, Sørenga Sjøbad, or in the huge BIG building in the port of Amsterdam, which is designed to be very wide at the bottom of buildings. Designed to match the construction of a new neighbourhood on the waterside or seafront, this bath offers the possibility of bathing at the very bottom of one's dwelling. To achieve this, it must be able to accommodate a wide range of uses all year round: a large swimming corridor for sports use, a flat-bottomed paddling pool, a diving board, etc.
It should also be possible to combine this bath with the social life of the neighbourhood, through events, community life and activities organised by and for local residents.
The second set of designs is inspired by our Copenhagen living space project, in other words, more intimate spaces. They have nonetheless been designed as social spaces for a new neighbourhood.
