MULTI-PURPOSE PONTOONS

In order to satisfy interests that may diverge, cities need to think about the multiple uses of rivers. For cities such as Paris and Marseille, navigation is a major part of the local economic landscape. Opening up rivers or ports for recreational use cannot be done without taking into account the commercial use of rivers. The various parties must therefore be able to co-exist, so that people can both sail and swim. 

 

We have therefore come up with floating pontoons that can be used as a boarding deck for pleasure or commercial boats, but also as a place to relax close to the water, or even to swim. The safety of the bathing area in the direct proximity of a navigation zone should therefore be a priority.
