BATHING AND SAUNAS

Saunas are the trendiest and most requested bathing facilities in Copenhagen. They enable the harbour baths to be used all year round. They are becoming a meeting place for the inhabitants of a district, a vector of local social life as well as being a space for body care.

 

Inspired by the mobile saunas designed by Danish architects MAST.dk, these models feature a bathing pool with a grating, allowing people to bathe in complete safety. As well as being installed in an urban setting like Copenhagen, these saunas can also be imagined on the waterfront of a lake like Lake Annecy or Lake Geneva.
