COPENHAGEN BATHS 2025 STRATEGY

The City of Copenhagen recently published a forward-looking report in which the architectural firm Spektrum Arktitekter imagines the harbour's future bathing areas. Here are a few images inspired by these designs, illustrating what the future of Copenhagen harbour might look like. 

 

This document highlights the importance of increasing the number and size of existing and future harbour baths. The typology of the baths varies according to their openness to the port, the presence of areas connected to the quay or the presence of zones with a floor for children. 

 

The future looks bright for the people of Copenhagen ... and bathable!
